The New Cambridge English Course is a four-level course for learners of English. Level 2 follows on from The New Cambridge English Course Level 1 (or another beginners' course) taking learners to lower intermediate level.

The Practice Book is an integral part of the course, reinforcing, extending and consolidating work done in class with the Student's Book. It provides extra practice on language forms, functions and skills, including optional listening exercises (in conjunction with the Student's Cassettes).

Translation exercises provide learners with the opportunity to relate English to their first langauges.

The Practice Book contains a comprehensive Mini-grammar - a concise reference guide covering all the structures and functions presented in Level 2 of The New Cambridge English Course.

The Key at the back of this edition gives answers to the exercises. The Practice Book is also available without the answer key.
